Pruett and George W. Pruett. I would have your cousin check out the 1880 Banks County,GA census in Washington District 284th,Georgia Militia, E D 1 sheet 48,page 311,family #449. I have not seen that census and i would like to see it if your cousin ever gets to see it, maybe she could e-mail the census page image. Also it would be good if she would e-mail the contact person for the rootsweb page by Gary D. Treat who is the contact person and see what he saids about this. There is a difference between Alfred R. Pruett and Albert K. Pruitt and Alford K. Pruitt. I would even like to see the 1860 census for Hart County,Rays District,GA Page 432,Family # 341, that family is Empson Pruitt and that is suppose to have Alfred K Pruitt in it. All I can say at this time is the information from the website for 1900 and 1910 stands up with the 1900 and 1910 census for White County,AR. Until i get more information that is all i can say for certain . I hope futher checking will make the other information clear. I will say that George W.Pruitt's father is Albert K. Pruitt. and I do not know if he used the other names or the census worker misunderstood what was told him for those other census. That's all i have for now.
