I am interested in this Pruitt of yours as he came from Georgia. My great great grandmother was named Mary Green Pruitt and she married J. D. Pearce in Mifflin, Tenn. in 1868. I truly believe that she was from Georgia (records say that) and probably raised by her grandmother. She called herself an orphan. What county was this Pruitt from?? Who were his parents??
