HI MARLA; My Hardin T Hughes appears to be the same as your Hardin Hughes,,b/1791/1795 They have the same wife and were from McMinnville,Tennessee. All my info is from descendants in White County ----many years ago-----and I have no way to verify any of the data. Rachel was my GGGrandmother; My records indicate that Hardin T Hughes from McMinnville had the following children: Rachel b/1814 Thomas H. b/1816 Hardin b/1820 Louisa b/1822 Catherine b1826 Andrew Jackson b11 jul 1828 Mary Polly b1830 Elizabeth b1832 All in McMinnville I am somewhat leery of census records as I have several ancestors who fudged their age on the census records. I have hundreds of descendants of Rachel and her husband William Burkett.
