I have several census records indicating he was married to Mary Jane Watson and had 4 children 3 of whom are recorded as being buried in Floyd Cemetery, White Co. AR along with their mother: Watson, John W - Aug, 16, 1876 - Oct. 21, 1877 - son of Z. & M. J. Watson (Zachariah and Mary Jane Owens Watson) Watson, Martha - May 9, 1872 - Aug 13, 1878 - daughter of Z. and M.J. Watson (Zachariah and Mary Jane Owens Watson) Watson, Mary J. - Nov. 28, 1847 - July 31, 1894 - wife of Z. (Zachariah)Watson - nee Owens Watson, Victory - June 28, 1875 - Sept. 10, 1876 - daughter of Z. & M. J. (Zachariah and Mary Jane Owens Watson The fourth and eldest was apparently married to my GG grandfather J.H. Sappington. I have no record of what happened to her, or if she and J.H. had children. J.H. had several children who are about the right age to be his and Americas' but I have no records. Could this be the same Zachariah as you describe? Note that none of his children by Mary Jane lived very long, except America, and we don't know what happend to her.
