Do you think James W. Bell who married Kate Sheldon in 1887 or James Bell who married Laura Hackney in 1876 would be your ralations? If so, I will get the info for you. Also, are these any licenses you might be interested in? Mary Bell married Francis Van Stain in 1880. Mary E. Bell married Thomas F. Singleton in 1892. Mary J. Bell married Levi Thacker in 1873. Joseph T. Bell age 21 married Elmira Chilcote age 17 on November 24, 1897. J. L. Middleton, J. P. performed the ceremony. The clerk was J. A. Ford. A note attached to this license goes like this: Joseph Chilcote of Jackson County, AR says that the father and mother of Elmira Chilcote are both dead and that she has not now nor ever had a legal guardian since the death of her parents. I think R. T. Bell signed as Security. Some of the writing is hard to make out from those old licenses. I hope this helps you or maybe someone reading this.
