He was my uncle and as far as we know he died while in a nursing home. It would seem that our cousin(his niece) neglected to give us any info on his death or our other uncle Gibson A. My Great Aunt, Retha Martin, died of some epidemic around 1916, she was about 9 years old. Her parents were Thomas Douglas Martin and Alice Elizabeth Williamson. She is living in White Co., AR on the 1910 census and is listed as Retha. Her parents divorced in 1915 and she is listed on the Decree as Leathie. Her mother remarried to a Milton Young and they were living in Woodruff Co. AR on the 1920 census. Retha is not listed with them. I am trying to find when and where Retha died and is buried and how I could find a DC for her. I would appreciate any help. Thanks. Charlotte McClain Christensen

The Land is listed under Emma Holden and Emma Welsh, The date of the grant is October 15,1906. The land would be in her name on the 1907 Platt Map of White County, which gives the township, range, and section/block number and Aliquot Parts(The area of the section). I would like to know where i can obtain a copy of the 1907 Platt Map or even 1910 Platt Map of White county? If those are not around then a current Platt Map of White County would do fine. I do have the legal discription of her 80 acres of land so i could find it on a Platt Map. Any Help in obtaining a 1907 or 1910 Platt Map of White County, or a current one would be appreciated. May I suggest you contact the White County Historical Society? They are some good people. Perhaps they can help. Write Eddie Best who is with that group and lives at Searcy. Ask him to whom you should send questions. ebest@ipa.net was his e-mail and probably still is. I would also suggest you check the surrounding counties. Beebe is close to the county line as you may or may not know. The family name of Neal is found in Lonoke County. There was a family by that name at Keo and the lady was my teacher many years ago. If you need a research person, I can suggest someone. She gets a donation to our local museum building fund. Linda Acrey Lonoke, Arkansas descendent of Fielding Price
