    3. Jo Ann, I have about 8 pages of Price genealogy going back to Richard Price (1555-1597 of Montgomeryshire, Wales. I do not have the source (researcher) of this materials name, and cannot vouch for its accuracy, however, it looks good and would give you some guidelines for investigation. I do not know who did the research, and simply held on to the material, because there are frequent questions on the Price family. I will be glad to photocopy and mail to you, if you will share your snail mail address. 3. Hi Again Linda, I just received an email from Jennifer Boger, who said she and some others had been doing research on the Guthrie's for some time and she had the information on where the Guthrie's lived in SC and when they came to AR. I am just trying to process the information she gave me and try to get it set with what I already have. I would like to stay in touch and maybe we can help each other. 2. Bill, I only know of two groups of Prices. One is descendant of Joseph Price from South Carolina and the other is a Joseph and Rebecca Price that were in Lauderdale County, Al, moved to DeSoto County, MS and some of their descendants came to White County, Arkansas. Who are the other Price family? Sarah E. Price that married Frank Springer is the daughter of William Price and Sarah Carter. William Price was the son of Joseph and Rebecca Price from DeSoto County, MS. My husband is a descendant of Joseph C. Price that died in the Battle of Helena. Joseph C. Price was the son of William Price and Sarah Carter. I have alot of information on the children of William and Sarah Price but like some data on several of their children. I am willing to share the data I have on Joseph and Rebecca Price and their descendants. Jo Ann

I would have to look at the tax List for those years to find out which year they came, it would be the year before they were on the tax list. I did a search on HeritageQuest for the year 1920 for OK and TX and did not find My George W. Pruitt and his wife Ida Mae Holden, George would have been 45 on the 1920 census. I do not think they went anywhere, They are on the 1910 White County,AR census and the 1930 White County,AR Census, but anything is possible. One possibility is either they were out in the field when the census worker came or they moved during the time the census worker came to another place in White County. Whatever the reason, I do not think i will find George and Ida Mae Pruitt in the 1920 Census. There are a lot of Pruitts in TX and OK, and if they did go to a different state then one of those states is where they would have gone. I have search most of the other southern states and have not found George and Ida. If anyone else reading this post knows where George Pruitt and Ida Mae Pruitt and their children Lester and Clifford where in 1920, please send me a e-mail. Thanks again for your information.
