    2. Carla Boxdorfer
    3. I am searching for any information about a JAKE WALTER REEVES and Mrs. Essie Browning. Jake's father IRA JACKSON REAVES and wife MARY PARKER REAVES moved to White County with several of his brothers between 1900-1910 from Anniston AL (Talladega county). Have information on all of IRA JACKSON'S children except oldest daughter. Looking for info on IRA and his brothers. Have made possible connection with family in Anniston AL which has researched as far back as the 1400's but need additional information on the brothers. The brothers names are:William P. (b) 1950, John T., George W, Thomas and David Reaves. One Sister of Ira and brothers has been located in White Co. Reaves, Narcissous - wife of Dr. W.B. Lowrey - March 3, 1860 - July 4, 1927. Providence Cemetery in Judsonia. I am also researching for any info on the family of ESSIE BROWNING REEVES March 10, 1010 - September 2001. . Essie is the daughter of ENOCH MILES BROWNING AND HANNAH REBECCA WHITE BROWNING. Essie's family moved to Cleburne Co. between 1916-1920 from Leake Co. MS. Family then moved to the Bald Knob area. Family later moved to McCrory area in Woodrfuff Co. and also Cross Co. Family consisted of 4 Sisters, 3 brothers - Alva Browning, William Carl Browning, Edna Browning, Josh Browning, Nancy Browning, Effie Browning, Lucille Browning. I have information on several of the siblings and some on Essie's parents, but have hit a brick wall. Any info would be appreciated. I am willing to share any information I have and would love to find more info.

    1. [ARWHITE] ROLL CALL: SIMS, EDIE, THOMAS: 1880-1900 White Co., Arkansas
    2. Leonard B. Parker
    3. L. SIMS married Aletha L. EDIE on 21 Nov. 1881 in Judsonia, White Co., AR. They had 3 daughters, Bess, Flossie(my mother), and Ora. "L" SIMS died sometime before 1900, since Aletha L.SIMS was listed as a widow in the 1900 census in Litle Rock, Pulaski Co., AR. "L. SIMS and Aletha L. owned property in White Co., but I have not been able to determine when or where he died, or what disposition was made of the property. Aletha (EDIE) SIMS remarried in 1907 a Baptist preacher named John Singleton Thomas and they lived in McAlester, OK. Thomas was a graduate of Judson University, a preacher at the First Baptist Church in Searcy, also on a train car "Church on Wheels", also at the First Baptist Church in McAlester, OK, and the author of 2 novels. L. SIMS appears in the 1880 census in Judsonia. In the census, his given name is hard to read, but appears to be "Lenius". His name was Charlie, or Charley Leonard SIMS(my grandfather), I have been told(no documentation). I am seeking any additional information on his death, burial, parents, siblings, etc.of L. SIMS. Any help will be sincerely appreceated. (He is one of my "brick walls".) Leonard B. Parker Fort Worth, TX(formerly North Little Rock, AR)

    1. [ARWHITE] Roll Call - COOPER, NORMAN, HOLLEMAN, PRICE
    2. Ivaleine Kay Cooper
    3. The Coopers and Normans came to White County in the early 1850's. ELISHA MCDANIEL COOPER was my great grandfather. He came with his inlaws, FRANCIS & SARAH NORMAN. Several of his brothers came at about the same time, and his mother came to White County after the death of Elisha's father in KY. His mother was ELIZABETH COGGIN. HENRY HOLLEMAN & his wife ELIZABETH COTTON HOLLEMAN, arrived in White County in 1858, from North Carolina. My other White County family is not proven, at this point, but I am fairly certain my great grandmother, ELIZA JANE PRICE, is possibly the daughter of WILLIS PRICE & SYDNEY JANE BOYDSTUN. Eliza Jane first married Dennis Hodge Smith and then my great grandfather JOHN CALVIN RICE. They lived in Cleburne & Stone Counties. The other lines of my family lived in Cleburne Co. They are TYLER, RICE, HOLLIMAN & JACKSON Kay Cooper, Atwater, CA
