    3. Was her mother's name Liddie Mary Dodd, born 18 Jul 1908? This Liddie Mary was a daughter of John Edwin Dodd and Minnie Haha Fisher. See if this is a match. If so, I am in correspondence with some Fisher genealogists who are looking for descendents of the Fisher Family, and I can put you in touch with them and they have a lot more on the Fishers. I have a lot on the Dodds, including a couple of pics of John Edwin Dodd and Minnie Fisher that I would be happy to share. I have a website you can checkout too and see if more names match. Let me know. I'll be glad to offer any help I can. website: http://linda_walker999.tripod.com Linda Walker By the way, I am descended from a sister of John Edwin Dodd, Martha Emily Dodd. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Saturday, June 01, 2002 12:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ARWHITE] Re: Minnie Fisher and john Edwin Dodd This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Mrs. Lockie HARPER of England, Arkansas, Mrs. Jeanettie COFFEY of Floyd, Arkansas and Mrs. Dora WALKUP of this city. She has two nieces: Billie and Frances (Frances' husband is Harold). I was kind of taken aback by all the name similarities though, we also have a Shorty Jackson that married a Watson gal. Edna's nieces are up there in age but are still with us. Grace is their mother and she married a Neal, her second and last husband. Holler back if you think there is more to this, wondering all about Grace now, lol, everyone lived at Edna's and she did practically raise those two girls.

Another marriage? was to a Kneissel or Neitzel?? with a child named Robert Paul. There may have been more marriages, and I know there were some children given away, but I don't know there names. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wV.2ADI/953 Message Board Post: I am searching for any information on Walter Arthur Guthrie, born 1875-1878. He was married to Violet Hope Boyd. He died 1960, she in 1945. This is my dad's dad and we have no information at all hardly except speculation. It was suggested I put out this inquiry to the White County forum as Guthrie's and Price's somehow fit together but no way of knowing if this is ours. His father was John and he had a half brother named Tom. His brother spelled his name Gutherie and Walter's marriage licence spelled same. He could not read or write so this is why there is so much confusion, I'm sure. There is one story of how he was a member of an outlaw gang that was killed while he was out visiting a girlfriend and he was chased into Arkansas. That's how the Price/Guthrie connection was made that somehow it was referring to a civil war story about Price and Guthrie fleeing. Anyway, anyone with info would sure appreciate it. Lee Guthrie Maui, HI
