Unless you happen to stumble on a long lost cousin, this may be your best bet. She will not do e-mail. Or you can phone her at 501-676-2496. Sherryl will go to the history commission in Little Rock to search if necessary. She will want an outline of what you are looking for, who it is, time frame, the county, etc. Sherryl will tell you where she looked, so you know that place has been searched. She does this strictly as a fund raiser. Sherryl will expect a donation to the museum building fund for her efforts. Sherryl has written at least three books and is highly regarded in this area. Good luck--- Linda T. Acrey Lonoke, Arkansas 25 miles east of Little Rock in central Arkansas

Mr. Best is a nice guy and should be able to point you in the direction of someone who can help you. If he cannot, I can suggest a lady who will do research for you for a donation to the local museum building fund, but in the next county over. She is a whiz at the old records. Good luck!!

Since the Pearce connection has been mentioned, let me throw a little more in the pot. I am looking for a Julia or Julie Pearce that married a James Marion Jones. I've had connection to Lawrence County, Craighead County, Sharp County, Fulton County and possibly Izzard County. The Jones side shows coming from Tennessee as well. No location on the grave site of Julia but, possibly in Craighead County. Any info along this line would be a help. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
