Peggy, You mentioned your interest in the Lynch line, maybe you have some info on one of my aunts. Her name is Dolly Mae Lynch, b. April 1904, d. 20 feb 1995, and buried at Dutch Mills near Lincoln. She married Ralph Swain, my grandmother's brother and they moved from Newton Co. and lived mostly in Dutch Mills or Lincoln from about 1934 on. I thought she might have come from your Lynch;s and you might have some info on her ancestors. Thanks for any help. Ray R.
Ray, I have been gone a few days and just returned this afternoon. Will have more time to answer over the weekend! Hi Ray, I'm sorry, but I don't show a Dolly Lynch in my database. My Lynch line came from Claiborne Co, TN to Springdale area by July 1851 when they became members of the Friendship Baptist Church there. In 1857 William Lynch purchased land in Madison Co. and they were listed on the 1860 census in California Twp. He lived out his life there and is buried at the Hickory Grove Cemetery between Clifty and the Best community. He has many descendants still living in Madison, Washington, Benton & Carroll County, but Dolly isn't one of them. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
