Hi Toni, I wish this were a hoax, however much to my sorrow it is true. CA has closed many indexes, because of concerns for identity theft. I have ancestors from Florida, so this will affect my research. I also have northwest AR relatives and ancestors. I have spent time doing research in the libraries in Fayetville and Bentonville and the Genealogy Society Library in Huntsville. I plan a trip back to AR this summer to continue my research there. The collections in those repositories are guides to locating my roots. I don't know what I would do if I were unable to access those collections. We need to be aware of the problems and follow our hearts as to how we react.
