Prairie and White River are townships in Washington County... Here is a site that lists all Arkansas townships... I lot of historical documents when referring to rural areas will use the township name... http://www.city-data.com/township/Arkansas2.html Here is a very good map which you can zoom into a particular township... http://www.arkansashighways.com/Maps/Counties/1936/mwash36.tif Cadron was located at the mouth of the Cadron River where it flowed into the Arkansas River just west of Conway...
