TN for participation in mtDNA testing to determine if Veronica Kifer was a daughter of John and Margaret Welty. Two children of John and Margaret Welty migrated to Washington Co. AR in the mid 1800s: Susan Kifer b. 1789 wife of Jacob Kifer (son of John Kifer from a previous marriage) and Ruhama Litteral b. 1805 wife of James Littereral. At least one daughter of John Kifer and Veronica Kifer also migrated to Washington Co. AR in the 1870s. Ruhama Kifer b. 1823 md. 1st Patrick Hagan and had a daughter Fannie who married John Boone. Fannie Boon appears in the 1880 census in Washington Co. AR as a widow with two daughters Mary A. Boon and Martha Boon. Ruhama md. 2nd Andrew Wright and had three daughters: Mary Jane b. 1852 who md James Winters, Clara Ellen b. 1855 and Mary E. b. 1865. Rhuehama Right appears in the 1880 census in Washington Co. AR with her son Major T. and daughter Mary E. Also James and Martha J. Winters appear in the 1880 census in Washington Co. AR with four daughters Nancy E. b. 1872, Mary A. born 1873, Ida b. 1875 and Jane b. 1880. Does anyone have more information on these female descendents of John and Veronica Kifer?
