I'm looking for information on my GGG Grandparents, John B. Nickell and his wife, Elizabeth, Bettie Nickell. I am trying to find out what Bettie Nickell's maiden name was. Many people are confusing her with the Elizabeth Baker who was the daughter of John Jackson Baker and Mary Campbell from Perry Co., Ky. but their daughter married a John Shepherd and then a James Hendrix and it appears that she stayed in Perry Co., Ky. whereas my Elizabeth, Bettie, Nickell was from Morgan Co., Ky. and lived there with her husband and children until they moved to Washington Co., Arkansas as did several of their children. John B. Nickell and his wife, Bettie Nickell are buried in Washington Co., Ark. in the Nickell cemetery there along with several other Nickell family members. Any information on this family would be much appreciated. I'd like to get in touch with some of their descendants. I am a descendant of their second child, Elizabeth Lizzie Nickell born Dec. 30, 1841 in Morgan Co., Ky. and married to Greenville T. Little in about 1860. Green and Elizabeth Little had 7 children while living in Wolfe Co., Ky. and then moved to Dallas County, Texas where they spent the rest of their lives and they are buried in Lancaster, Texas in Dallas County.
