My ggg-grandmother was Rachel Anderson. The best information that I have is that she and two brothers were orphaned in Washington County and taken in By the Caughmans and Yoes. My records show that the brothers were Alexander and William. We have never really been able to verify the parents, but have always believed them to be Peter Anderson and Sarah Rogers. Rachel Anderson married Alfred Caughman. Their son Nathan Caughman married Sarah Center and Their daughter Mary Catherine Caughman (married Albert Lee Pierson) was my g-grandmother. Do you have more information about the family? I have some old Anderson photos that belonged to my grandparents.
