You have a great deal of information on this line. I would love to exchange information with you. My line is the Jesse Hobbs family. Can you tell me what part of Missouri they moved to and do you have info on the Hobbs family? 5 December 2002 Hi Donna, In a book of Washington County, AR, history is states the birth place of Martha Elizabeth HUGHES as Lawrence County, MO, 2 Mar 1852. She is the daughter of my ggg-grandfather George. It appears the HUGHES', PASCHALs, HOBBS, and probably other families traveled together from NC to TN to MO to AR so it would seem right that the others I show simply born in MO were probably born in Lawrence County as well, given the original information is correct. These dates range from about 1852 to about 1857. I have Jesse Henry HOBBS, born 25 April 1825 in North Carolina, as the son of Joshua HOBBS and Elizabeth SMITH HOBBS. There were HOBBS families living in the Guilford and Orange County border area, in both counties if I recall correctly. There were living in the same area with the PASCHAL and HUGHES families. I haven't put a lot of effort into tracking the HOBBS just yet, but would be very interested in exchanging information with you. You welcome to whatever info I have. Thanks for the email.....looking forward to hearing from you again.
