Charles Wellington Talley b. 27 Jan 1845 d. 11 May 1911 m. 1st Mary Elizabeth Ratcliff Had 6 children, 2 died as infants m. 2nd Elizabeth Ann Flowers Had 8 more children, 2 more died young. Charles and Elizabeth were married in Hamblen County, Tenn., moved to Texas (area near Wichita Falls) for a while where Elizabeth's parents had moved, decided it wasn't to their liking, and homesteaded 160 acres in Brentwood, Washington County, AR.
