Clayton, who in 1910, was postmaster in Elm Springs, Arkansas. Robert H. Clayton, b. 17 MAR 1841 in Green Co., Kentucky, d. 16 SEP 1923 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. He married Martha Evlina Sallee, b. 13 MAY 1841 in Hardin Co., Kentucky. They moved to Arkansas between 1869 - 1870. They were in Madison County, Arkansas in 1870, Washington County, Arkansas in 1880, 1900 & 1910, back in LaRue County,Kentucky in 1920. They had 2 children; daughter, Mary O. Clayton, b. abt. 1869 in Kentucky, and son, Jefferson M. Clayton, b. abt. 1872 in Arkansas. I haven't been able to find anything on either one of his children or when and where his wife, Martha, died. Any help, especially with the children, would be appreciated. Thanks!
