    3. Thanks Michele, How would I find out the home town newspaper for that date (March 18, 1950) in Fayetteville _ he actually lived in Highfill area, out where the present day airport is.     3. have you done a newpaper search in Fayetteville...alot of times they have a archive that will go back that far. Or information on how to find what you are looking for. I have emailed newspapers and always get a response, its worth a try.
