Does anyone know if some of the early families appearing on the 1830 and 1840 census of Vineyard Township may have come together to the area from someplace in TN? The Samuel Lewis and wife Bricey who was a settler there came from TN according to most Census records although one has him from NC. We have been unable to find any record of them in TN or NC. Any help is appreciated. Greig Lewis
