    1. [ARWASHIN] Shiloh Museum & Boston Mountain research
    2. Hello list, I just returned from Washington County Arkansas. I toured the Shiloh Museum and ordered some pictures of my family. I recommend the Museum to all who venture out to NW Arkansas for family research. Excellent displays and friendly staff. Also stopped by the Fayetteville Library which is full of genealogical surprises. I visited the Winslow Library. It has a small corner of local interest but provided me with some family history. The staff there was also helpful and friendly. I stayed at a small B&B not far from Winslow Called Sky-vue lodge. It was the perfect spot for research of cemeteries in the Brentwood, West Fork, Crawford County and Boston Mountain areas. It's a safe place for a women to stay with beautiful views of the Boston Mountains and a hot country breakfast. Cyndi Hutchens

    1. Re: [ARWASHIN] Postmasters
    2. Cyndi, My book on Post Masters in Washington County shows Thomas J. Bell as Postmaster of Brentwood in 1897 and the next postmaster in 1889. It is likely he was postmaster in 1887 and 1888. Hope this helps. Jim Bassett

    3. OOPS.........another Morrow/Rinehart marriage I missed the 1st and 2nd time. Lavania King had a sister Alice who married a Lee Rinehart. Again Lavania and Alice were dtrs of John King and Sarah Francis Morrow, Granddaughters of John and Mariah Cox Morrow. 3. I have Martha Lee Hodges, born 1865 to Howell and Martha Jane Morrow Hodges at Cove Creek Community, Wash Co AR. Martha Morrow Hodges was a sister to my gg-grandfather George Morrow. I have an extensive file on her if you would like it. I'm pretty sure this would be the Martha Hodges married into the Reinhart family. Could you send me some dates and maybe we can verify this? Thanks Carol Morrow Besette [email protected] Researching: Morrow, Cole, Edmiston, Comstock families in Washington County AR. Besette and Daniel families everywhere else.
