This site has a few cemeteries for Washington Co., AR. http://www.interment.net/us/index.htm Eulimma in CA At 07:50 PM 8/19/2002 -0400, you wrote: >Does you book give any names of people who are buried in these cemeteries? >Joyce > > >==== ARWASHIN Mailing List ==== >If you wish to subscribe to or unsubscribe from the >Washington Co., AR list, send the word Subscribe or >Unsubscribe to [email protected] or >[email protected] if >you are on the Digest list. > >============================== >To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, >go to: >http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237

    3. I'm trying to locate the following surnames in Washington and Benton counties. Larue (or Laure) McCutchen moved to Cincinnati, AR with his children ( James, Annie Cordelia and Mattie or Martha) in about 1884 from Indiana. Mattie married James A. O'Brien in 1890. O'Brien was also from Indiana, they had a daughter (Maud) in 1895 at Brightwater who married Fred Summey also from Brightwater. Fred's parents were Horace Summey (son of Quincy & Sarah) and Virginia (Jennie) Lansdowne. If you had any information on any of these families, I would appreciate it. A.M. Bross

    2. Robert W. King
    3. Hi folks! I want to call your attention to an web site I had heard about being in preparation some time back, but which is now online. It is the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System. They seem to have input all the names from all the regimental rosters on both sides of the WBTS. You can search for a specific name or for unit rosters. The URL is http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/ . Rosters can be viewed online, or (by using a cut-and-paste technique) saved as an Excel spread sheet. In my very first visit, I discovered that an old rumor about the sons and sons-in-law of one of my ancestors enlisting together was absolutely true by finding them all in the same regiment. Now if they just had battle casualty reports available. -- Robert W. King I'm an ingenieur, NOT a bloody locomotive driver!
