J.E. MCKNIGHT OF STEEL'S CHAPEL COMMUNITY DIES Mrs. Frances (Fannie) McKnight, 84, of the Steel's Chapel community near Bee Branch (Van Buren County) died yesterday (Feb. 14, 1963) at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ward, in Little Rock. She was the widow of James E. McKnight. Mrs. McKnight was born Dec. 24, 1879, at Bee Branch, a daughter of Isaac K. and Mary Honey Ward. She lived all her life in Arkansas. She was a Baptist. Survivors also include two other daughters, Mrs. Darrell French of Bee Branch and Mrs. Clarence Brown of North Little Rock; three sons, Andrew F. McKnight of Little Rock, Crawford W. McKnight of Plumerville and Earl B. McKnight of Bee Branch; a brother, Martin Ward of Peorie [Peoria ?], Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Willie Gordon of Charleston and Mrs. Marvin Nelson of Edinburg, Tex., 25 grandchildren. Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Blackwell Cemetery. Burial will be by McNutt Funeral Home.
