Jan. 31, 1913 Tuck and N.B. McGlathery were almost scared speechless while out hunting one day last with a Winchester pump gun, which exploded or fired while being loaded, blowing the breach of the barrel open. Thursday evening of last week Uncle mart Edwards, while at work weather boarding a house at arlburg, had two ribs broken, one of the bones of left wrist and his collar bone fractured by the falling of a 14 feet scaffold on which he was standing. He was being assisted by Jud and Bruce McGlathery, the latter alighting on his feet had both ankles thrown out of place.
