I was looking through the marriage records listed on the Van Buren County Rootweb site, and came across one I am curious about. 4/19/1885 Weeks, Joel to West, Nancy V It doesn't give ages, so I am not sure if this is the correct Joel Weeks or not. Is there anyone who may know anything about Nancy West and Joel Weeks marriage? What makes me so curious is the marriage listed right under this one, 2/07/1889 Weeks, John R. to Ashbury, Meda L. I know John R., who married Meda, was the son of Joseph Brown, who was really Joel Weeks born 1819 TN, but I had always been under the impression that his son Joel, born 1858, had died, and never had heard anything about a marriage. There had been rumors of the children had gone back to using Weeks as surname after Joseph's death in 1867, so looks like this could be the proof. Any help appreciated. Another family mystery!
