I can't find anything other than what my grandmother knew. My grandmother Bessie , her mom Mary, sister Adele, half brother Jim Gibbons and dad John Shelton went over into Oklahoma to find work. John Brown died there and is buried in a Red Hill cemetery somewhere on OK.Mary was first married to Epks Gibbons. he died and she married John. I have an old picture of Mary, John, Bessie, Adele and Jim standing by an old covered wagon that then went there in. the picture was so dark you could hardly tell who was in it.
