Genealogy Workshops In conjunction with Arkansas Historical Preservation Month the Conway County Genealogical Association will be sponsoring genealogy workshops. It is very important that we preserve our written and oral histories for future generations. Some of the topics covered will be "Where do I begin, family sources, citing sources, organization of records, correspondence, queries, online research, census, wills, probates, tax records, birth, death, marriage, divorce and adoption records, AR History Commission Archives research, land records, immigration and passenger lists, military records, computer software for the genealogist and sharing your history so as to preserve". Participants will receive handouts. The workshops will be held Tuesdays, May 17, 24 and 31 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. These will be held in the Koontz Room at UACCM in Morrilton.
