    1. [ARVANBUR] Fw: GOOGLE SEARCH ENGINE
    2. Phyllis Campbell
    3. Just in case you don't know about this, this is a great search engine for genealogy. Yesterday I typed in a name and came up with a large 1999 obituary that listed lots of relatives. Also I put in the name of one of my husband's ancestors who was murdered in the 20's and I found a newspaper article about the murder. Try it. Now I know I won't be able to get on this for awhile because it will be so busy. :-) Phyllis Google ... Advanced Search . Preferences . Language Tools. 1. [ARVANBUR] looking for information: Wood
    2. Wanda Garner
    3. I am searching for any information I can get on two different Wood families living in Van Buren County, AR in the 1860 census. The first family is of Isaiah J. Wood and his wife Mary. The second, John Wood married to Elizabeth. I believe these two gentlemen may be brothers. Both moved to this county from Lawrence County, TN. Isaiah J. Wood was my gr-gr Grandfather. This family is not located again until I find them living in Fulton County, AR in 1880. Wanda L. Garner stppnwf2@centurytel.net

    1. [ARVANBUR] Writing your own obituary
    2. Phyllis Campbell
    3. This was on another listed and I copied, modified and pasted it to this email. I think this is a good idea. Phyllis We all know there are so many mistakes made on records people keep. When my mother died, I put her mother's maiden name as Lewis ,when in fact it was Davis and in 1989 my sister died and her husband put in her obit that she was born in Columbus Ohio, {Canton} that she attended school in AZ {MO} and that she was a member of the Mormon Church {his faith, not hers}. Because of this I wrote my own obit for place and date of birth, parents correct names and so on and filed it away. Maybe we could save others some work and mistakes this way.
