    3. Jettie, I don't find a listing for this man under any similar spelling. The marriage index is still available through the Van Buren County Historical Society. Just go to the Van Buren County Rootsweb site and then to the Society or the Museum site. They have an index for brides and one for grooms. The one I have is for grooms. Sorry I could not be of more help. 3. Jettie, I have the book "Van Buren County, AR Groom's Marriage Index, 1865-1991". There is not a Samuel Henley listed in it. There are other Henleys but not him. I would assume that the records they have begin with 1865 since that is when this book started. Sorry I could not be of more help. Good luck in your research. 3. Hi Charlotte, I wanted to respond to your wonderful gift to me on this website, so that everyone knows that there are some really kind, selfless people out there. The pictures came over beautifully of my great grandmother's tombstone. I'm in tears as I look at them. I was told it said "Ruth" when her name was Rutha, but the picture showed it correctly. Also I never was told of the writing at the bottom and I was able to read that from the picture you sent. Thanks so much, I don't know how to express my gratitude. I hope to make it that way in a couple years. I have lots of roots in the surrounding counties. Rutha was actually born in Marion and her first husband, Franklin Richardson my ggrandfather, in Searcy/Stone. And that's just the beginning. Once again thanks so much. Judy Lincoln Cty NC

    2. Ken and Judy Jackson
    3. Hi list, I need a big favor. If anyone is going to the Clinton Cemetery in the next few weeks or months even would you take a picture of my great grandmother's tombstone? It has been seen, it's in the cemetery books and I saw it on line several years ago. She died in 1917, so of course, I have never met her but my curiosity about her after having seen her name in my grandmother's old Bible got me started on this long journey of researching as many of my lineages that I can find. Someone emailed and said that her tombstone said" Ruth Richardson Tracy born Feb 17, 1862 died Feb 10, 1917." That was a while ago. I would reimburse all expenses. It could be a scanned photo or snapshot. Thank you, Judy Jackson

    3. Is there anyone on this list that goes to the Clinton cemetery in Shirley, AR regularly or is planning to go soon? My ggrandmother, who got me started on researching many of my lineages, is buried there. Several years ago some one sent me the area number and what it said on her tombstone. I can't lay my hand on it as we just moved into our new house in the woods of NC. Anyway if someone is going to be there, I'd love a snapshot of her tombstone. I never knew her or her oldest daughter, my grandmother-but thanks to her notes in the margins of her old Bible, I feel as if I know them somewhat. Ggrandmother is listed as Ruth Richardson Tracy b 10 Feb 1862, d 18 Feb 1917. Also anyone on the list a "Tracy"? Ggrandmother's first husband, my ggandffather-Franklin Pierce Richardson of the Searcy/Stone cty Richardsons died very young leaving her with 6 children. She married again to an (Unk first) Tracy and had two more children, who descendants I'd like to find. Thanks so much however it turns out. Judy Curtis Jackson Lincoln Co. North Carolina
