Can someone please tell me what all information was taken from the bride and groom in Union Co. for a marriage in 1854. Maybe where they were from or witnesses. My gggrandparents SAMUEL E BYRD and HARRIET A CLAYTON were married in Union AR., 22-July-1854. All other records I have found on them are in LA. I am wondering why they traveled to Union Co. to get married. Did they have family there, etc. I would appreciate any help. Thank you! Gwen Byrd Perkins
