Hi Barbara :) Finding family is sooo much fun :) Carlton was born December 31, 1917 and died April 1976. He and Aunt Kay (Katherine (Kay) Violet Day), I think had kids of their own, but for sure adopted one or two. I remember visiting her in Brawley (outside of El Centro) and there was a girl about the same age as myself, I think that her name was Kim. I lost track of everyone after Aunt Kay's death. Aunt Kay, was my grandmother's sister, Jamie Faith (Day) Jones. Jamie married Clavis Jones in Strong, then divorced him, and he married Mary Ola Woods. We're also in correspondence with Julia Estelle Day's daughter. My great-aunt Estelle was the family genealogist and I feel as if I took her place :) I'm still trying to research the Jones line also, since I mentioned Clavis. His father was James Wesley Jones, who's father was Jonathan Mathias Jones. We're having a dickens of a time finding Jonathan Mathias! Family story is that he was born in Scott County, MS, but we've not been able to find him in the census. I have his obit (Jonathan's). Thanks! Lori Our Mixed Nuts .. err ..
