I would like to correspond with any descendants of the CHANDLER family that lived in Union Co., AR during the 1850's thru 1870's. Some collaterial families were Langford, Goodwin, Chew and McKinnie. William Chandler owned a 22 room hotel in El Dorado named "Chandler's Tavern". It was located at Main St. and Washington across from the courthouse. William's family lived in the hotel until after his death in 1863. The hotel was sold to the Armstrong family and became the Armstrong Hotel.
