Hi Dena It says he is a farmer from South Carolina and that both parents were born in Africa. It first had S. C. for both his parents and that got crossed out and Africa was written in. It looks like his wife and her parents are all from Mississippi. The two slashes indicate that he can not read or write. Let me know if you need any other information from the sheet.
