    3. I'm really grateful Catherine. I'm pretty certain The Adams and Boldings owned most of Lapile Township between the two large families. I did misunderstand about the look up and thought it was a index and not an image. Next time I will ask the person. Thanks sorry for the problem. There used to be a town in Lapile called Bolding which is now defunct. Also a Church where our Boldings would hold their family reunions. One cousin said that the Boldings owned all the land to the "Wash-A-Taw" I wont even attempt to spell it but starts with an O. I do remember the indian name meaning good or big hunting. Most of the Boldings in the area arrived in the 1850's from Tenn and South Carolina. Many of the other surnames too. They'll find their ancestors came across the migratory trail from Chester County to Bradley County and crossed the river there and then came on down. For some reason there was a big movement in this time frame but this is the migratory trail most took. --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!?
