Awarded 2 Battle Stars. ____________________ Camden Newspaper Obit: April 20, 1998 Camden - TRACY ENOCH WITHERINGTON, age 89, of Camden died Monday, April 20, 1898. He was the widower of Mina Wardlaw Witherington, the owner and operator of Helen Street Grocery, a veteran of World War II and a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He is survived by three daughters, Marjorie W. (Jim) Crump of Mobile, AL, Melissa Witherington of Moberly, MO, and Betty W. (Bill) Gardner of Tallahassee, FL; two sisters, Mable Talbot of Camden and Madlyn Murry of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Tracy Witherington. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM Wednesday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce. Rev. Mike Seabaugh will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Monday. Proctor Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
