I work at the McLean County, IL Museum of History Library as a volunteer and reviewed this CD #166. It was for early birth, death, marriage and baptism records for various churches in PA. I was excited to see that they also listed many baptisms of slaves and indentured servants during this period. Anyone that would like me to do a lookup for surnames in this collection please let me know. Most early records appear to be of Quakers, Lutherans, etc. There are also records indicating who was being disowned for holding slaves, infidelity, etc. Illegitimate children are also indicate when being baptized. In addition, they indicated when someone took up with a person not of their society. Catherine
Would really appreciate a lookup for Wolgamot or Walgamot or Wolgemuth (all variations of the same name). Specifically looking for birth records of children of a man known as Jack Walgamot and his wife Julianna Abel. These records have eluded us for years.
