    3. Dear ladies and gentlemen, More than a year ago, one of my brothers finished to compile all our Salvaille family tree. As everybody knows, it took him quite some time to gather all the information back to 1673 when Pierre Salvaye married Catherine Leroy. He entered all his data in a computer database and he felt that all his hard work was dead, not alive, and not accessible to our family. His hard work was not finished yet.... He discussed about his problem to a friend that became is associate for that special task: Make something that can be show to the rest of family, over which we can discuss, tell stories, remember events and tell our children where we come from; to make it plain in simple "Make the tree a living fragments of our past". It took them more about a year to develop that "living tree" and meanwhile they given me the opportunity to help them in their project. Week per week we develop that tree: finding the backgrounds, designing a well structured tree with 3D boxes and with all the name in it, the right printer, the right paper, the right ink so that the colours and writings would not fade away with time... We were proud of our accomplishment and it was time to share this hard work with the amateur or professional genealogists there are in the world. This is not an easy process for us but we know that the genealogists have they same emptiness then us at the beginning. We know that them too would like sharing with their family all the hard work they putted into their project. So we created a site called www.genographica.com and each week we meet to improve the site, offer new type of trees. We are working are to help genealogists in their work. Our home page in called http://www.genographica.com/index.html and we are also very proud of our site. We are trying to be as helpful then Cyndi Howells or Rhonda R. McClure to name a few but it will take aus quite some time and some hard work to be as helpful and as good as them. I want to thank particularly Mrs Rhonda R. McClure for her letter http://207.153.204.247/cgi-bin/gt/archives_issue.html?user=ffffffffffff&news letter=1604&nl_master=1 ) . She wrote such beautiful comments on our site and we felt even prouder of it. We felt that she understood us so well what we are trying to do. We are planning to write every month, if necessary, on new things we are developing. We are, by the way, designing a blank form tree of help the genealogists gather all their data on paper (in a genographic tree form naturally) and a black and white genographic tree without a background. Thank you for your time and being part of the action. Carol Salvaille
