Lori, Thanks for the marriage lookup. Maybe W. S. married elsewhere. No, it doesn't appear as if our Morgan lines were/are related. I am stuck at the moment on Washington E. Morgan and wife Sarah Anah Elizabeth Stephens (a mouth full) they are the earliest progenitors I've found. Supposed to have come out of Tuscaloosa, AL. Dunno. As for Hill/Jones it's actually a step relation to the Alphin line. Thanks again..............it's a good day when you find another detail. Good luck to both of us on these Morgans.
