Hello Everyone, I am new to this list and would like your help in getting a death date & obit for the above man. According to the 1880 census for Franklin, Union County, he was 79 then, his wife Mary Ann was 29 and they had a 20 day old dau Carrie. How's that for an interesting story! Seriously, has Union County done a cemetery survey that might give me a death date? He must have died fairly soon after that (or maybe not). Judging from his deed records he came from Monroe County, AL but lived in Franklin from 1850-80. He was previously married to Rachel Cook. Any help would be appreciated. Joan Marie in Oregon
