    3. Miss Marguerite was an excellent genealogist and a very helpful person. I grew up in Strong and highly doubt that anyone in her family valued her work as much as several of genealogy friends. When I am in Strong (probably during Christmas season) will check with some folks to try to find out what happened to her research. She always gave of her self, never married, took care of her aged parents and then sick relatives. She was very gifted. Louis Taunton ***Thank you . . . it's really nice to hear such things about a person you knew of and thought kindly of, but never met in person. I had thought her brother did care about her hobby, (as I remember, she just called him Brother). I remember one time that she said that her brother took her out to the cemetery to see about the Stegalls buried in a particular location -- just because they wondered if . . . . Could you ask, when you go over, when she died? And also check on her brother's death -- I think that was in 1984, give or take. She always was sure we were related, our Stegalls. I thought I was getting close to proving it. :-( Thanks!
