Hi! Does anyone have any info on William Graham and his family, such as census records or family history? I think he could have been my great-great-grandfather John Graham's father. The family left Union Co. in the early 1840's and went to Iowa. Before they left, John married Elizabeth "Betsy" Langley on Nov. 12, 1840 in El Dorado, Ark. John was 20 and Elizabeth was 17. She was the daughter of James W. Langley and Judith Maddox. I work at the McLean County, IL Museum of History Library as a volunteer and reviewed this CD #166. It was for early birth, death, marriage and baptism records for various churches in PA. I was excited to see that they also listed many baptisms of slaves and indentured servants during this period. Anyone that would like me to do a lookup for surnames in this collection please let me know. Most early records appear to be of Quakers, Lutherans, etc. There are also records indicating who was being disowned for holding slaves, infidelity, etc. Illegitimate children are also indicate when being baptized. In addition, they indicated when someone took up with a person not of their society. Catherine

Cuma Sasser died December 28, 1880 and is buried Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery. John Ballard's 2nd wife Alice J. Ross is also buried there. John A S Ballard died December 17, 1919.
