I'm not good at distances, but that sounds about right. It will be on your right going from Ravenden to Hardy. It is on top of a hill. There is a gate near the road. My late husband and I were there looking for his great-grandfather, Obediah Thomas. This land, at one time, used to belong to Louis B. Thomas, son of Obediah. We were told that Obe was buried on Louis's land. We located this cemetery but there wasn't a tombstone for Obediah. Just 3 tombstones were there and they were all Jacksons. I hope you find it if not let me know. Hi Mark, If your gggrandfather. James Monroe, was the son of Enoch Jackson...then we are related. I found the Jackson cemetery mentioned by Robert Nicholson just south of Poughkeepsie. It is about 100 yards on the north side of a creek which is just down the hill from Harry and Zelma Howard's house. Zelma's grandfather bought this house from Matthue Jackson, who we think is Enoch's father. There are some old style flat stone graves there in addition to the one of Ben L Guy. According to Zelma, they are the graves of Matthue and his wife. I have photos of these graves if you would like as well as a photo of the house that used to stand there. Zelma lent me her original and I copied it, scanned it, doctored it and it looks passable. It has her family standing in front of it....it is a pretty rough looking place. Anyway, if you are interested in any of this info....let me know. I am going to be passing through the area at the end of April and was going to try to do a little bit of cleanup there. It is rough.
