Hi, I have Duke's in my Haley line, John A. Duke married Lovicia "Viciey" Haley, sister to my gg-grandfather Barney B. Haley. My Dukes came from Cannon Co. TN (1860 Fed Census) and show up in Pleasant Hill Twp in Izard Co. (1880 Fed Census) John and Viciey had a daughter named Sarah who was born in ILL. abt 1868, the rest of the children are bn in Arkansas. It is thought that these Dukes were traveling with Viciey father Barney B. Haley after they left TN however have not been able to trace where they were in 1870.
