Yes, there is a book on Sharp County Cemeteries...I'm not sure when it was updated last, but I've got one. I've also got the "Lawrence County, Arkansas Loose Probate Papers 1815 - 1890" compiled by Dr. Marion Stark Craig that lists these WASSON folks: Ann E. Ann Eliza Clasrissa J. Clarissa Jane E.P. Finas P. Franklin Pinkney Harriett Isabel John C. Joseph H. Joseph Houston Sophiah J. W.S. Whitfield G. Winfield Scott and William L. If any of these look familiar, let me know, and I'll type that info out for you. Are you planning a trip up here to the Ware, Sullivan and Campground cemeteries? My grandparents still live in the area and I try to get up there frequently (I only live about 35 minutes away). Most of my folks are buried in either Campground, Lancaster (in Lawrence county), Sullivan, Ware and Fairview, just to name a few of the ones close there. Arkansas Land Records and the listings of Lawrence County cemeteries are both on-line. The cemeteries are at Nancy Matthew's page http://www.insolwwb.net/~nlmatthews/cemetery.htm . One place to find land records is through the 'search land patents' at http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ and another is http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/arkland/arkland.pl which will lead you to the records found at http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/arkland/arkland.pl Hopefully these will help you find a few things...and let me know if you're in this area soon - sounds as if we've got a few ancestors in common!
