I was wondering if there are copies of wills from back in the 1880 period. I am trying to make a connection between Matthue Avery Jackson and my gggrandfather Enoch Jackson who was living in Lawrence County. Does anyone know if there are copies of wills or if there is any way of finding out if Matthue Avery Jackson had a will when he died in 1880? Thanks Rick Jackson
I forgot to mention that Matthue Avery lived about 2 miles south of Poughkeepsie in Sharp County. He had a mill on the property for a number of years. Thanks again. I am wondering if Rick Jackson is the son of T Jackson? He used to live not far from where I live now.
