Rick, The Powhatan Court House had old documents the last time I was there. There is a book with an index but I do not have a copy. Perhaps you could contact the Powhatan Court House or post a query on the Lawrence Co., AR mailing list. They have some documents on my Lowden Jackson born in NC and he died 1861. I do not have copies yet.
