    3. Regarding Braxton Smith, the one I am looking for is the patriach, who was born in 1801 and died sometime between 1870 and 1880 in either Sharp or Fulton Co. I have the Ash Flat History Book which was a big help to me. I have used it to research the homestead histories, and apparently Braxton was in Sharp Co in 1870 at the age of 69, then is no more found in the censuses. His sons moved to Fulton County and homesteaded there so I am wondering if he was moved with them or died in Sharp County. I am a descendant of Benjamin Newton Smith, the brother of Leonard H. Smith. I don't know my family relationships to figure out what that makes us, distant cousins perhaps, but if you know of any family reunions that might bring me into contact with more relatives on the Smith side please let me know. Thanks. -- Connie Smith Kettle Falls, WA (northeast WA, Stevens County) Mail to:[email protected]
