My grandmother was Tamar Matilda Jackson Hibbs On every census her name was spelled differently.One when she was a younggirl had her down as Fanny t.Her age was never correct after the 1900 census.Sometime she was Matilda sometimes Tammar .She was called by those who knew her ,Tamer Matildy.My name is Beverly Juanita.     3. Thanks for the illustration, Sue. You definitely have a point! ;) I have a JACKSON connection, in a round-a-bout way, in Sharp County. I don't know Mr. JACKSON'S first name, but he married a 1st cousin of my father, Ester FOREMAN. Ester is still living, but her husband is deceased. Her line goes back to Albert FORMAN and Eva Pearl FERGUSON. Eva Pearl and my grandmother Sarah Ellen were sisters.
