Matthew Avery (son of Thomas, died 1834 that's all we have on him, don't know his wife's name, stuck here) Jackson, b. 1804 in VA, died abt. 1880, Sharp Co, Washington Township, AR., wife, Louisa Ann "Eliza" Gay, born 1809, North Carolina, died Sharp Co,Washington Township, AR, abt. 1880. Here is a list of their children: Marcus B, 1827; married Maryan Barnett Enoch Jackson, 1828; married Eda Wade Foster (my GG Grandparents) Mary Frances "Fannie" ,1830, married Joseph Taylor Martha C. ; 1835, married Wm. C. Thompson Jane Elizabeth; 1837, married John R Roberts Judith A; 1839, married Thomas J. Gay Nancy Caroline 1844, married Pleasant Miller Shannon Matthew T.; 1847, married Nancy C. ? John Wesley; 1853, married Amanda Garrett To any folks out there, if any of these names ring a bell, I am trying to find any information about Matthew Avery,'s (born 1804) parents Thomas, born ??
